BRUCE
Birds flutter in the sky, they have a place to go,
Cars go by, in a hurry, or sometimes very slow,

The sun outside is shining and gentle breezes blow,
Children playing happily, watching their father mow,

People greeting people and laughter in the air,
But he just sits and waits, he really doesn't care.

He used to run and play, and join in on their fun,
But now he just sits and waits, for his family to come.

Why have they left me here, his sad eyes seem to say,
I only ever come and visit for the day.

Though she hugs and cuddles him, Nanny's aren't the same,
Brady and Rianna, his little mates, play a better game.

So he just sits waiting, he doesn't understand,
His family soon is coming to take him home again.

They'll love him and they'll cuddle him like they always do,
And tell him "Our dear Brucee...we will always love you.
